- It has been in operation since 1970.
- When in operation, the fountain can reach 562 feet high.
- The fountain is the centerpiece of a 30 acre lake. Its column of water spurts up for 15 minutes at the top of the hour every hour between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
- The fountain has a sensor that will shut it down if the wind exceeds 10 mph.
- Usually only two of the three pumps are in use on most days, so the fountain only reaches a height of 330 feet. With all three pumps working the fountain can stream 562 feet in height.
